Green events at the Parkhotel Matrei

At our guesthouse in Matrei, we have a deep commitment to nature; as a result, we place significant emphasis on organising events and seminars in an environmentally friendly manner. Here are some of the measures we take:

• The Parkhotel Matrei is conveniently accessible by public transport.
• We have plenty of parking spaces for bicycles and two charging stations for electric vehicles.
• Our location uses certified green electricity as well as electricity and heat from renewable sources, including our own production (photovoltaics).
• Our hotel has been awarded environmental certifications (EU Ecolabel and Austrian Ecolabel).
• We have a waste management plan and designated waste separation stations. 
• We source our food exclusively from local producers and suppliers, prioritising high-quality ingredients with a focus on organic certification. We are delighted to offer vegetarian dishes.
• We minimise the use of disposable packaging whenever possible.
